Terms of service
Plain terms for a personalised, made-to-order product.
Draft for review. These terms are a working draft prepared alongside the product and have not yet been reviewed by a lawyer or finalised against Indian consumer-protection and data-protection requirements. They are published here for transparency during the build, not as a binding agreement.
What you’re agreeing to
By using this site or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree with them, please don’t place an order — email support@1labs.ai and we’ll help however we can instead.
This is a made-to-order, personalised product
Nothing we sell is held as finished stock. Every piece is created from your photo and your choices, starting only after you have seen and approved a digital preview. This is different from buying an off-the-shelf item, and it shapes the cancellation and refund terms in our Refunds & cancellations policy.
Pricing and currency
Prices are shown in INR (India-first, global-ready). The price you see at checkout, including any size, finish or add-on you choose, is the price you pay — Shopify calculates the final total, including any applicable tax and shipping, before you confirm your order.
When an order is placed
An order is accepted once payment is confirmed through Shopify’s checkout, after you have approved a preview of your piece. If anything about your photo or details needs clarifying before we can start production, we’ll contact you using the email address on your order rather than guessing.
Your photo and the people in it
When you upload a photo, you confirm that you own it or otherwise have the right to use it, and that you have the right to have the likeness of everyone recognisable in it reproduced as a physical keepsake — including, where the subject is a child, that a parent or guardian has agreed. We ask you to confirm this explicitly during upload, and we keep a record of that confirmation. Full detail on what we will and won’t accept is in our Acceptable use policy.
Revisions and approval
You can ask for changes to your digital concept before you approve it. Once you approve a concept and check out, that approval is what we build the physical piece from — we ask you to look closely before approving, because production begins from that approved version.
Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits any right you have under consumer protection law that cannot lawfully be limited by contract.
Governing law
These terms are currently written against India law as a working placeholder while we complete a proper legal review — this has not yet been confirmed with a lawyer and may change before launch.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product and business develop. The version in effect is always the one published on this page.
