Legal
Photo policy
Your photos, explained plainly: where they live, who can see them, and when they're deleted.
Draft for review. These terms are a working draft prepared alongside the product and have not yet been reviewed by a lawyer or finalised against Indian consumer-protection and data-protection requirements. They are published here for transparency during the build, not as a binding agreement.
Your photos are private
The photos you upload are never placed on a public image server, and they are never visible as a product photo anywhere on this site or in our store’s admin. They live in a private storage area that only our systems can reach, under a random file name rather than anything that could be guessed or browsed to.
Who can access them, and how
Access to a photo requires a temporary, signed link that expires after 15 minutes. There is no permanent public URL for any photo you upload. Your photo is used only to generate your 2D concept and, once you approve it and place an order, the 3D model your keepsake is produced from.
How long we keep your photos
- While you’re still deciding: if you upload a photo but never finish or order, we delete it automatically after 90 days.
- Once you’ve ordered: we delete your original photo 30 days after your order is delivered — whichever of the two limits above comes first.
- 2D concept images (the AI-generated drawings shown during Create Yours) are kept for 7 days in this demo version of the site.
- 3D files made for preview are kept for 90 days.
- 3D files used to actually produce your order are kept for the life of your order plus 6 months, in case a remake is ever needed, then deleted.
- The record that you gave consent to use a photo is kept for 3 years, as a legal minimum — this is the one thing we keep even after everything else above has been deleted.
Asking us to delete a photo
Email support@1labs.ai with your order number (or the email address you used) and we will delete your photos and any generated assets ahead of the schedule above. See our Privacy policy for how this fits into our wider handling of your data.
